Greatest songs to write up a PhD by… #5

OK, so I am wasting a little time… there is nothing wrong with a touch of procrastination…

Trying to synthesise into one, long 50,000 word document in a coherent way, all the science and experiments I have done over the last almost 4 years is quite daunting…

At least I am part way there… there is no blank page in front of me anymore…

And so on this fine Sunday evening whilst most of my friends and family are in the pub trying to trace an Irish relative to get a free Guinness from the landlady to sup whilst watching the end of the Ire vs Cro Euro 2012 game, I am writing this blog and listening to the finest music known to man (more specifically me)

Now you may not agree with the choices… fair enough… I am not even allowed to listen to the first track when my girlfriend is in the flat as she thinks it is noise… but these tracks have helped shape many a turn of phrase and inspired countless cut and pastes (*joke)

So… the top 5 countdown starts with (why is there no# button for hashtag on my Mac!)
